About Us
Prolon Controls designs HVAC control systems built specifically for small- and medium-sized commercial buildings, delivering simplicity, reliability, and long-term value for everyone involved.
Since 1998, we’ve focused on solving a common industry problem: most control systems are either too complex, too restrictive, or too costly for light commercial applications. Prolon was created to offer a smarter alternative—one that works better for contractors, distributors, and building owners alike.
Our approach is built on removing the barriers that slow projects down and increase costs:
- No restrictions: Any qualified contractor can install and service Prolon.
- Free software and updates: No recurring fees, ever.
- Long-term compatibility: Protection for your investment across product generations.
- Straightforward systems: Designed for fast installation and easy support.
For contractors, this means faster installs, easier service, and full control over their projects. For distributors, it means a reliable, easy-to-support product that drives repeat business. For building owners, it means lower costs, greater flexibility, and systems that won’t become obsolete.
Headquartered in Mirabel, Quebec, Prolon maintains close control over product quality while supporting a growing distribution network across North America and internationally.
We don’t believe in locking customers into our ecosystem—we believe in earning their loyalty. By delivering dependable, accessible solutions, we’ve built a reputation as a trusted standard in light commercial HVAC controls.

Did You Know?
Born out of the frustrations created by other control system manufacturers, Prolon distinguishes itself from competing vendors by being one of the few manufacturers specializing in HVAC controls for light commercial buildings.
Controls vendors often specialize in complex and expensive DDC systems and, on occasion, offer a scaled-down version for small buildings. However, these scaled-down versions tend to have very limited scope or applications.
