Unit Ventilator Controller
The Prolon Unit Ventilator Controller is designed for seamless integration with 2-pipe and 4-pipe unit ventilator systems and delivers precise temperature control while significantly improving indoor air quality. By optimizing airflow and minimizing energy waste, it creates a more comfortable and consistent environment—enhancing occupant comfort and promoting healthier indoor conditions.
The UNV Controller features an on-board microprocessor for accurate digital control, leveraging PI (Proportional-Integral) algorithms to ensure optimal HVAC performance. It supports a wide range of configurable sequences, including:
- Automatic 2-pipe mode changeover based on water temperature
- 4-pipe mode
- Automatic purge cycles to prevent coil stagnation
- Economizer & CO2 control and face & bypass damper sequencing
- Flexible scheduling and override capabilities
Configuration is simple and can be performed locally or remotely using Prolon’s free, intuitive software.
By monitoring dedicated inputs and executing pre-defined yet fully adjustable control strategies, the Prolon UNV maximizes both energy efficiency and operational flexibility—making it a smart and sustainable solution for modern unit ventilator systems.
